〈ストーリー〉 明治二十一年ごろの伊勢参宮街道では、お杉とお玉という女二人組の旅芸人が人気を呼んでいた。葉山レイコ演じるお杉の芸は、三味線の演奏中に着物の裾をはだけて足を開く、言わばお客の性的好奇心を喚起し、喜ばせる芸だった。女の体を売り物にすることも辞さないお杉の姿勢に、お玉は反発し、自分の音の世界を追及し続けていく生き方を選らぶ…。
